  • Vsc/trc vsc off. Abs

    Hello Everyone,
Could someone please assist me please.

I recently thought i had brake issues on my Prado J120, but after checking that they were all fine, i proceeded on a loong drive and 600km's in my front right hand wheel bearing complete disintergrated. After repairing and everytyhing seemingly fine with the car, the ABS,VSC/TRC, VSC OFF and Skidding lights are staying on.

I have tried turning the car off and on, disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes, driving in a straight line (the return trip was 700km's anyway) and checking for any damage around the wheels and brakes but can'tfind anything.
Anyone have any idea what to do next?

BTW, I live in a remote part of Zambia (Mfuwe,700km's from the capital and nearest Toyota),the car is a UK spec and directly imported and otherwise in great condition.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thankyou.

Was the correct bearing fitted? The ABS equipped models have a tone ring in the back of the bearing, if it has a non ABS bearing fitted it won't have the tone ring. You can buy magnetic indicating film and use it to detect the ring https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/32232995...4AAOSwMkJfkOuz

Or the abs sender is faulty. Mine gave the same signals when a rock bent the rear abs sender. You may need a code reader to see which one may be faulty.

Thanks for the responses. I'm not sure if the bearing is the correct one. It was purchased from Toyota but i wasn't there when fitting. But i will try a code reader to see if the fault can be found. Thanks
