How much g70 do you add? Gear changes in my 2008 td could be smoother.

I just put a whole tube in with a new oil change. Nulon advises that 125ml treats 2lts of oil. The gearbox holds 2.2ltrs approx.

Replaced gearbox oil and added the nulon g70. Gear changes are now smooth as silk.

Hi all, I know this is an old thread but exactly what is happening to my 120 series. Changing up from 2nd to 3rd it crunches sometimes but not all of the time. I’ve replaced brand new Penrite gearbox oil with Redline MT-90 and Nulon G70 additive but sadly it only made a small difference. Whether it’s hot or cold, it crunches maybe 1 in 4 gear changes. Doesn’t seem to matter what revs or how slow I change gears. Done 150 kms on the new GB oil. Should I do a few more kms or take it straight to a gearbox specialist?
