Damn, I wonder what the go was with my switches then. Oh well, at least they work. I still call them the most expensive switches I have ever bought, since there are no other signs that the car has lockers until you press those 2 little switches

I'm having the front locker installed today/tomorrow. Just thinking, from electrical point of view, did anyone go into trouble of wiring the power that goes to the e locker relay via the centre diff lock? So you cannot accidently lock the diff lock withouth throwing the centre diff lock on first?

If this isn't a good option how did the other go in terms of protecting that switch from the missus accidently hitting it with her handbag?

Don't pee SWMBO off. If you can't do that then keep your head away from the controls when she swings her handbag at you. We have a rule - no fighting in the car. I tell her that if she hits me I'm running into the biggest tree I can find, on her side of course!

The more I think about it the more I like the solution of powering the E locker relay via the centre diff lock switch. Perhaps someone has some photos showing the centre diff switch/cable that I could source the +ve from?

3000km done on the front e locker and now I noticed it's all wet in oil. Great! Wonder if they stuffed up the little plug where the electrical cable goes in

So I'm guessing those with E lockers are happy with them?

I'm considering one for the rear of my 120. I'm also looking at replacing the crown wheel after all the failures I have read about.

Funny that ive been thinking the same thing today. Im considering driving the rig down to Perth next week to get both done. Very keen on some long term feedback on them and if anyone has got a quote recently? Ive just sent off a few emails today for pricing.

Rear was around $2k (ended up with 4wd systems lokka instead) and front $2.5k? That's with new seals, oil etc etc

Does that mean you ended up with an auto locker?

Can I ask what swayed your decision?

I did end up with the auto locker at the back and E locker at the front.

I guess it was mainly the cost, saved around $1200 this way as I was not keen on ARB lockers. The other thing is you don't need to worry about the whole "did I forget to switch it off?", it just does it's own thing. Works very well off road and so far there was only one time I had to dial in front locker for help.

It does click around corners though so that's the only drawback I guess, very hard to hear but it's there so if little noises drive you crazy than auto locker is probably not for you. Cannot hear it off road at all.

I got a quote for front and rear air lockers from ARB and it was $4082 inc install and air compressor. Seems like you spent $4.5K.
2007 GXL V6 - ARB Bullbar with LED lights, snorkel, extractors, 2 1/4" dual exhaust, K&N filter, dimpled/slotted rotors, headrest dvd players, Ebay Satnav/reverse camera, GME 3100TX, Tigerz11 Side awning on custom brackets with Maxtrax mounts, 300W Invertor, ARB Underbody protection, Lightbar and STZ 265/70 tyres.
Wish list in order I'll get them: Sliders, 2" lift, E-locker, Winch bar with winch.

Not quite, I did not end up with the E locker but an auto locker from 4wd systems instead.
