Hi.
Sorry if this has been covered before; have tried search function to no avail.
Instead of fitting a rear diff lock, such as air locker, pro locker, detroit etc, has anyone taken theirs to a diff specialist and had the diff preload adjusted / shimmed so that it actually functions properly?
Just wondering if this would be a viable alternative. On my previous 4wd (Jeep Cherokee) the rear LSD was fantastic. With a front and a rear wheel off the ground, the rear still gave enough traction to get moving but the ol' Toyota rear LSDs seem to be famous for being ineffective.
