G'day all.
Just reinvigorating this thread.
We have recently bought a 2011 Prado and we're having trouble getting the trailer lights to work. I've checked all the fuses (box under the steering wheel requires a contortionist to access and use). All good. I read somewhere (probably here) that the number plate light can go off if there's a loose wire in the tailgate. Could this be related to the trailer not working.
We have a round pin connector and the trailer lights work fine on the other trailer (round to flat adaptor).
Hubby has just taken a preliminary look at the plug connections and all seems good there. But as he says "He's a boilermaker not an auto sparky". LOL
Hope to hear from someone soon.
Ann
