I've just bought a spotlight switch from Ebay in readiness for my install. It has four wires - black, yellow, green and blue. Now I'm almost certain that they're for power, earth, switch illumination (with interior lights) and switch from the full beam. However, I have no idea which one is which and the site (or google) has no info. All switches I've seen on line have a red wire. Does anyone have any ideas? There's a relay in the harness if that makes any difference.

Can you post up a link to the one you purchased, generally the switch just plugs into the harness?HKB Electronics, manufacturer of the Alternator Voltage Booster, Silver 2008 D4D,Lifted,Underbody protection, Alternator Voltage Booster, Tiger Z winch, Lightforce DL, Air Horns, Tanami Drawers, Drop down fridge slide, Outback cargo barriers, Rotronics dual Battery system, Polaris GPS, HF/UHF/VHF, Radio speaker combiner, Long ranger water tank, Diff breathers, Inverter, Snorkel and others

The harness and switch are from different suppliers. The harness does come with a switch, it's just a generic round one so I wanted one that fits into one of the existing blacks in the car. There is no info on the ebay site where I purchased it! I think it might just be a case of trial and error!
