Hello,

Is it easy to replace the headlamps on the 120?

I would like to purchase new headlamps as my 2009 ones are cloudy.

Does anyone know of a how-to-do-it video or instructions?

They're very easy to remove - just a screw and a clip or two if I remember correctly. However, the cloudiness can be removed with a mild polish and just add a new layer of UV block. I have a dual action machine polisher for the paint and just used this - they looked brand new. The after-market UV filters are not as good as the coating that came originally on the lights but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than replacing both units.

Give them a polish. I used Turtlewax headlight polish worked great.
Even something like Brasso will work.
Just do a small sect first to make sure you are getting the result you want.

It wont remove any internal mico cracks in the plastic though.

Hi, thank you for your reply. I am located in Nairobi, Kenya. Because the equipment and the product is not readily available(or it is substandard), I am likely to just buy some new headlights. They are super-cloudy and there may be some micro cracks on them.

Try a car polish on them (not wax, needs to be slightly abrasive)

toothpaste also works..... and will give your headlights a sweet minty smell for awhile... LOL
