Interior Dome light not working.

Hi everyone,

I picked up my 120 series Grande about 2 weeks ago. This is my first Prado and I'm stoked except for one issue - The interior dome light doesn't work.

I have tried the following to rectify the issue without any luck;

- Replaced multiple fuses and it blows every time.
- Removed all the interior lights and housing leaving only the wiring plugs. Again without any luck.
- I have also tried replacing the Cluster to test it and it's still blowing fuses.
- The car did have an aftermarket alarm system but has since been removed (interior lights never worked with it anyways)

I know there may be a short circuit somewhere but I have no idea where to begin.

Has anyone experienced this? Any help and will be much appreciated as this is drilling my head in.

How did you get on with this? My 120 is doing the same. Also the trip meters reset to zero when key turned off, no beep when door opened with key still in, all the things that need power after key off are not working, I replaced fuse and it all worked briefly but now fuse blows as I install it. Be good to know what you found out, cheers
