Hey all I'm doing the sound system and having trouble removing the GX/GXL style manual AC control behind the dash. The mechanical cables out the back look like they lift up (like the door lever) but they won't budge. Please help!

Not sure what you mean but the cables are removed at the HVAC unit levers. Ah yeah I saw that but I didn't fancy feeding the cables back through. I worked it out (with no help from the service manual). You just need to push the 2 clips apart and the cable can slide forwards then you can lift it straight out. It's a pain in the arse setup though for something so trivial! Cheers.Comment
