Send lock / unlock signal

Hi all

Long story short, I am looking for a way to trigger the electronic central locking, that's fairly accessible.

I have an arduino like board, that connects to WiFi when I pull in the driveway and does some home automation stuff. I had an idea that I could connect this into the locking circuit, as I have a bad habit of leaving the car unlocked, particularly when bringing in groceries etc.

Is there somewhere I can tap into to lock / unlock?

Sounds like you're over complicating things.. Its not rocket science where to inject a door lock signal, Simply insert it at the manual button on the drivers door.
More the question would be once your unit gets wifi, its going to lock, likely whilst you are in the car.. Then you will unlock it to get out..
Inserting something with a parasitic drain into the system is also another issue.. As a tech I've seen many an over complicated product. And the failures they all have.
I think your idea needs some more research IMO before attempting..

I totally forgot about the button on the drivers door. That would make sense.

Your other comments, while valid, are already addressed. I can go into details if anyone is interested.
