Hello all from the UK!
I have tried to resolve this over here on Uk forums but no one has an answer. I have a 2005 3.0 D4D LC5 120 and when you turn the ignition off the electrics under the bonnet are still clicking away. That happens with ignition off to radio still on position, completely off, key removed and also car locked.
If you leave it clicking for a few minutes when you come to restart firstly at dash lights on position the rev counter is bouncing up and down, next position and it just spins over at high speed like the valves are open! now the interesting part. If I break the 5v or signal wire to/from the turbo position sensor it shuts up and goes to sleep and battery is still able to start the car the next day. So each time I stop I press my secret button i've installed and car instantly starts when I come back to it a day or a week later.
I have the following fault codes (attached) according to techstream but have been told the cam and crank sensors may be a red herring, so really just looking to see if anyone has come across this before? and do you think if the turbo isn't parking the vanes properly could that cause it? i.e. new motor and or sensor. I have bench tested them and they seemed ok.
