Cheers mate, will do for sure....in your honest opinion, do you think exhaust upgrade or high flow muffler worth the trouble/coin?? I'm guessing you'd see enough of them to have a pretty good idea!

If you must, just get muffler removed, but you may loose bottom end to gain top end?

[QUOTE=Mozz;n28805]I don't know if its been discussed before but I thought I'd share this. My Fuel economy has been gradually getting worse and not having driven the vehicle for some time the Mrs was complaining about the vehicle being down on power. I went for a drive with the scan tool connected yeah it was down on power and struggling to make 5 psi boost pressure. On closer inspection checking for a blockage in the MAP sensor filter I noticed that it had a clack across the top of it. I've ordered a new one but just bypassed
Many thanks to the op!
Currently travelling around Australia in a Prado 150, intermittent P0299 code requiring clearing when overtaking or working heavily up a hill. Advised to clean MAF sensor, no change, discovered live MAP readings in diagnostics through Bosch obd scanner (I’m more used to tractor modules). Did a google, found thread, took ours to bits sure enough a crack was there, leaking air, bypassed and noticed immediate increase in boost pressure. No fault recurrence
old thread I realise but thankyou
