My Prado is just coming to the end of its extended warranty period and is currently sitting at around 180k kilometres. Once the warranty expires I'm planning on fitting a Pro-Vent catch can to minimise the oil and condensation drawn into the induction system. I'm assuming there will already be lots of crud in there so am considering giving it all a clean. Has anyone removed the intercooler and given it a good clean and flush? If so, did it make any difference? I'm also considering taking it to a specialist and getting them to clear out the induction end and remove the gunk. Again, has anyone done this and did it make any difference? I'm a bit pedantic regarding the condition and running of my cars so won't do it unless its worth it and I can trust the shop to do a thorough job.
