2009 120 1KD 260,000km
I got a remap done just before xmas all going well.
Did a trip from Darwin to Townsville just after New Years and on the return trip the turbo let go at the Barkley Homestead. Lost all power, lots of smoke, loads of squealing turbo noise. Towed and trailered back to Darwin 1100km.
Now new turbo fitted today and goes as it did but when dropping back a gear to over take ( manual 6 speed ) the boost / vacuum hose connected to the MAF filter keep blowing off causing no power and smoking.??
So the question is why does the hose blow off, why does it blow off after you back off the throttle not when accelerating?.
The hoses blowing off also happened on the return trip just before the turbo went.
Did I get a bad remap not sure what boost is set at now.
