Did EGR clean and injector change over the weekend (injectors relatively easy, EGR not so fun). I had to replace the third fuel line, and in tightening the bottom nut, I managed to break the knob off the vacuum switching valve (see below)
Does this matter? What does the knob to? Presumably it adjusts something. It's not that expensive to replace, but access will be bit of a PITA, so if it doesn't matter, I'll probably leave it. Everything seems to running ok. The only thing that struck me as a bit strange is that the EGR Close Lm. Status is showing up NG (was OK before). Not sure if this is related to the knob, or the EGR clean or something I have done wrong.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
