Hi everyone,
I have a Diesel KZJ120 Prado 2003. It has almost 250,000 KM of use. I have been driving for at least 2 years with the pipe that go in and out (to the manifold) the intercooler covered in oil. Specifically where they joint with another part. Some years ago a mechanic told me that my Prado was losing "compression" and needed new piston rings and other internal parts, i do not know if it is related. Anyways, i am not an expert but as a general rule i think that an engine without oil dripping from its parts is a healthy engine. I've read in the web that these parts use some oil, but should be such that the oil goes out of the pipes? Please advice.
