Recon just installed, black smoke when taking off and no power

Hi all, i have just had a new recon motor installed with a new turbo, new injectors.

We travled 700km when the car stopped... needed a new fuel suction relay (i think) had the 1k service while it was there

We then drove 1000km along highway (fluctuating revs keeping below 3k and 100kmh) and stop in small town... when we went to take off there is a big cloud of black smoke and no accelleartion... as soon as the car hits 20kmh (eventually) and woosh car starts accelerating and no more black smoke...

took it to the mechanic for a quick scan this morning and he cant see any error codes, only thing showing on his computer is that the throttal indicator is not reading anything even though the throttal is clearly opening and closing....

it rev's when not in gear quite happilly but just has no acceleration ndner any form of load. (ie slight hill pulling away from lights etc..)

any ideas??

So turns out it was the EGR valve being stuck open that was the culprit...
