I hadn't fitted the new breather caps yet .. as I hadn't sourced the adaptors I needed .. but I had run the hose from each diff up onto the firewall and just plugged the Toyo caps back on them (for now).
1. Oil andd filter change is still to do. Checked oil and it was clear though.
2. Trans fluid is clear.
3. I'm assuming I will need to pull the covers off the diffs to have a really good look ... which will mean new gaskets ?? SOunds like a job for Marty.
4. Greasing the unis etc .. is one I hadn't thought about .. thanks for that.
5. Radiator / air con has had a good hose out - low pressure - and I've checked the fins are clear with a cable tie.
6. Standard Toyo filter is in .. after remove whole intake side, cleaning all the crap out - and the dust trap is clear.
7. With all that water on the windscrren we were blind ! ... but I think I might wrap a bit of canvas across the front of the car next time.
8. I've already sic'd Marty onto it.
9 Jay would have needed a snorkel to walk that hole. :lol:
10. Bought one ... didn't win.
11. Prefer the Air Force .. I'd rather be airborne than submerged. :lol:
What about the air flow meter ... would that need to come off and be inspected / cleaned out ??
