    Spark Plugs

    Hey Lads,

I have done the same as the previous thread and was a very simple job for mechanically minded.

Used NGK Iridums 25K's ago and the truck is running schmick. By the way got the plugs from the US posted and Delivered for 7 plugs (Off Amazon) and yes they put a extra in for less than $50.00 AU. We are getting robbed here in Australia.

Just a little food for thought. Why ae we paying rediculus prices for parts here.

    Enjoy.

Just a little food for thought. Why are we paying ridiculous prices for parts here. because of a huge markup,,100% or more, not just car parts either . Have you got the part # for the plugs you bought, I want some.

Just did my Grande today and a great big thank for the link

This helped so much, bitch of a job with the gas conversion ,used Bosch platinum plugs sourced from EBay for$48.00 for the six plugs.
Took me about 2 hours with a few choice words and bloodied knuckles.
But if you want to save money DIY is the answer, guess this would cost at least $200.00 for a mechanic to do the job.L
2005 V6 Grande, Sovereign Bull Bar, Piranha Dual Battery System with dash monitor, GME TX 3440 CB, Impco Gas conversion, Tmax Winch with Plasma rope, Outback ideas recovery points, ATS suspension upgrade.Sandgrabba mats. Milford Cargo barrier.Rhino roof rails.

Can anyone assist with Matt's original post? It seems to have been deleted.

            Cheers,

Nope. He left the forum over an issue with another (Now banned) member, and had a rogue moderator (Also banned) delete all of his posts a few years back.

Its not a hard job, drivers side is easiest, use a 3/8 socket set with extensions. Passenger side helps if you unbolt a few things and move them out the way. Takes me about 30 mins total to change them all out.
