New owner service advice

Hi All
I just brought a 08 GXL wanting to do oil/air/fuel filter change as well as oil.
I was looking into prices of the filters, big difference in some products comparing e-bay to genuine parts.

Question is, is this E-bay stuff any good??
Specifically the BrinTech brand, seems too be a good deal, But at what cost ??

Growing up with marine engineer/diesel mechanic, my experience tells me to stick with genuine parts.

Love to hear what other people think, also some oil recommendations would be appreciated as well

I always use ryco filters. No problems so far. Oil I'm not too fussy with usually shell 15w40. It's kept the old 90 purring happily and just past 425000km so mustn't be too bad.

I use Ryco filters too including the cabin filter behind the glove box. I have an 08 petrol and use Shell Helix 15-40 oil. Change every 10000km and its always nice and clean. Car has 112000km on the clock.

Ryco filters and good oil like shell, penrite etc. 10/40 has been good to me. Change every 5000-10000kms and no issues
