Good Evening everyone,

I recently acquire a 2004 prado with a kzte auto.

I would like to change this to a 2TR-FE, is this possible ?

Anything is possible if you are prepared to spend the money. I've seen caterpillar and Detroit diesel engines dropped into 4x4's before. I've seen a Chev Silverado with a V10 Lamborghini engine.. Anything is do-able.

that's great, has anyone ever done this particular conversion ? I'm trying to figure out what parts would be needed.

Isn't that a weird conversion? I assume you're talking about a 120- Why not just put the 1GR that came stock in it? Or put a later model D4D in?

You guys made sense, costed too much to convert. Ended up replacing the 1kz
