I have a 2004 v6 Prado with 140k on the clock. It’s running rough and after checking It’s running on 3 cylinders drivers side 3 aren’t working at all I’ve changed the spark plugs and swapped the coil packs side to side to see if it makes a difference but still the same 3 cylinders cut out I’ve cleaned the maf sensor and cleaned out the inlet and throttle body. Anyone got any ideas what it could be ? Thanks

How did you ascertain its only on 3?
Early models had head gasket issues, a leak down or compression test will point this out if its the case.
Any symptoms before it started running rough?
Regular servicing? Every 10k? Whats oil and water like? any cross contamination?

When it’s sitting idling I can take all 3 coil pack plugs off and there is no change head gasket seems ok no mix in oil or water and always runs at a steady temperature it comes and goes sometimes it works with no dramas for a few days and goes bad again. Serviced at least every 10k
