Hello from India - where my Prado is a well-respected elder statesman which can end road rage arguments very quickly.
I've got a ghost in my machine and nobody [especially Toyota Service India] has any idea how to help.
On a cold start, and for the first few minutes of running the car, the fuel pump stutters and hiccups if I attempt a burst of acceleration. Same thing if I try giving it extra power to go uphill.
We tried switching out the fuel pump but the problem persisted.
Again, this ONLY happens when the engine is cold.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
