Hey Guys. I'm finally a Prado owner after signing the contracts yesterday for my new 2008 KDJ120R GXL! It's black, 5 speed auto, D-4D 3L Turbo, 100,000km on the clock and it looks great. Just waiting for it to be shipped from Victoria to Queensland early next week, and go through the tasks of getting the new QLD safety cert and re-registered.

Sounds great. Don't want to frighten you but the first new Prado 150 I was supposed to take delivery of was a vehicle that was sourced from Townsville and had to be delivered to Darwin. When it got here I was asked to look at it as it was covered in stone chips from the journey. I rejected it and then had to wait another 5 weeks for a new one to be delivered by boat direct to Darwin from overseas. The dealer has since told me the quote to repair that first car was $35,000 as it needed new roof and full respay. Toyota have apparently bought it back and are going to repair it or break it down for parts. I guess I'm saying be very careful who you decide to transport it with. Mine was with Patricks who I believe have the contract with Toyota.

Thanks for the heads up. It's being shipped with Toll Transport, which is included in the sale price. It was that or take 20+ hours to drive 2000km from Melbourne to Brisbane; which i can't afford the time off work.

Just an update: Prado arrived on Friday intact. Very very dusty, but that's expected from such a long haul. Just a matter of getting the beast re-registered in QLD, which should be the middle of this week. I'll have photos soon of one of the Dane pups inside to show my reasoning for purchase
