Hi to all,
After a lot of research and a little bit of a search we now have the Prado we have been looking for.
She is a 2006 GXL, with the D4D engine.

Gotta say that after having read so many posts prior to the purchase (which helped answer a lot of questions when trying to decide on a model) & many more since; I feel like a bit of an imposter.
The car is about as stock as you can get and it's main use will be around the town & to tow our 18ft tandem caravan (1900kg loaded) on regular trips and weekends away.
New to the 4wd thing so will try and get off the blacktop as much as possible - bearing in mind the vehicles limitations & more importantly my limitations
Loved the post detailing the post regarding the washer nozzle mod. Was stunned when i used the washers on the way home from picking the car up so thats the 1st item on my list.
Once we do a dry run with the van on, i will determine if we need any suspension work. Any recommendations of suspension that is a probably more focussed on towing that hard core 4wd action??
My last question relates to some posts from a few years ago relating to Toyota factory tow bars and the use WDH. Have a system i currently use on the Kluger that I want to use on the Prado. Any feedback from members towing similar caravans would be appreciated.
