Ok, so finally got round to fixing my wobbly driver side mirror.
It wasn't the housing, just the mirror.
1. You will need a very small flat blade screwdriver and a T25 Torx Key
2. Locate the small panel under the mirror, it is in the black plastic part.
3. Insert flat blade into the back (mirror side) of panel and carefully pull down.
Do not insert flat blade at the back (towards the front of the car) and pull as this will break the tabs that keep the panel in.
When you have the panel out you will understand why.
Once you you have the panel off you will see 3 screws. Either one, a couple or all of these will be loose.
4. Tighten the screw/ screws with the T25 Torx Key.
Then go for a drive and ...... no more shakey objects in side mirror..... Yeah.
