Air con / heater front vent rattels

Hi , I am hoping that someone may be able to help , our 120 series passenger vent under the glove box rattles at certain times , I have found it has a bit of movement and doesn't appear to have anything around the bottom edge , and wunder whether there should be something to hold it stable , i've felt around in a couple of same models in the local Toyota yard and both don't have any movement and feel like there is some type of plastic surround , thanks John
