Audio Controls on Steering Wheel

Old tread, but hopefully someone can answer me anyway.

I wan't to get the audio controls on the steering wheel of my car. The picutures in the instruction are gone, so I have problem understanding everything pepe writes. I do not understand how you connect the cables from the radio to the audio controller. Where do you find the cables? Are they connected to the radio or are they loose back there? Where am I suppose to connect them?

Do anyone have pictures to show me?

About Audio Controls on Steering Wheel

I have been reading your post about the audio controls on the Prado.

I was wondering if you could help me please, I purchased a steering wheel that's already got the audio controls on it, but when I remove the airbag on my steering wheel that's not got the audio controls, I notice that my Cruise Control stick is plugged into a socket that my new steering wheel can plug in to, so I was wondering if you could let me know what I would need to get and do so that the new steering wheel can be used in my car and still be able to plug in the Cruise Control stick.

Perhaps you could also send me the post that you originally did along with the photos

The audio controls need a cable that connects to the cruise control stick, horn pad and the audio controls, as opposed to audio only. or cruise only wiring. It may be pretty hard to find one if you did not get the wiring with your steering wheel. Also be aware that some Hilux wheels have a 10 pin plug for the audio and if you get the airbag to suit the controls, they only use a single stage airbag inflator that won't work with the prado 2 wire connection. You can now buy the steering wheel controls from AliExpress with controls both sides. They co0me with wiring but only for the audio and horn. I asked the seller about wiring for the cruise control and the language barrier prevented me from getting a sensible answer no matter how I tried to phrase it. I am going to fit the controls with left and right controls and hope that they use the common "key1,key 2, key gnd" wiring otherwise it won't work.

Update on the left and right controls from aliexpress.com. the phone buttons work and the lower button works but I am guessing the other two buttons are wired to pins on the plug rather than key 1 and key2. It looks cool and works well
