2006 climate control.

Hi, first post. I have just purchased a GXL 2006 manual V6. I will be doing quite a bit of work on it to get it up to spec. I was wondering if the climate controls panel for the A/C can be substituted for the standard dial type on my vehicle?
As I will be purchasing some parts from wrecked Prados, if I came across one that had the climate control panel and it will fit, I will seize the opportunity.

Did you make any progress with this? I have a 2004 with what I imagine is the same all-integrated head unit and am wondering what my options are for aux/bluetooth/backup camera.

I did look into the climate control a bit further and lost interest as it seemed there was a lot of things that were different and I could not find anyone who had blazed that trail before. I did fit a double din GPS/stereo head unit and fitted a reverse camera to the number plate light. It was a lot of work to run the wires etc and the camera points down a little too much for my liking, but it works well. I have a late model steering wheel fitted that i am hoping to connect the stereo controls to my head unit, but I can't find anyone who has done that either so I am not sure if the wiring continues from the clock spring or not. I will proceed with that project when I get more time.
