Air conditioner Issues, Help Please

Recently acquired a Land Cruiser Prado Grande 2005 GRJ120R
The air conditioner wont run properly (going hot and cold) but then when you switch on the Centre Console Cooler it works perfectly fine?

I assuming its something electrical?
Still covered by Toyota warranty as was purchased from dealer

Is there something that i should tell them, that will narrow down the issue if others may have had this problem, given i really dont want to go back and forth while they try and figure it out.

Best be taking it back to the dealer before warranty expires and let them sort it.
