  • Reversing camera

Hi, got a 2007 Grande and would like to put in a revetsing camera with grid pattern on screen to help with hooking up the van. Due to back wheel placement cannot mount lens directly over towball. Present factory lens offset
    Any ideas please?

I mounted a camera centrally above the towball, behind and through the rear bar, as shown in the pic. You have to take the rear bar off, which doesn't take too long, mount the camera and then refit the bar. The wire can be cable tied to the loom going through a grommet up to either quarter panel cavity behind the tail light. Easy to run a wire forward from there alongside the loom bundle on either side under the door sill trim, if you want to hard wire ... I have a wireless transmitter in the left quarter area near the jack location. I have mine on permanently (separate reversing cam screen), which is a great extra rear vision view when driving, as it fills in the blind spot behind, and also is reassurance that your trailer is still hooked up securely.

Makes reversing up to a trailer a breeze as you can line it up perfectly and not even have to get out of the car.

Brento, I see you are at Brunswick Heads.
Waeco are having a factory seconds sale of their products including reversing cameras on Saturday 24/11/18 just for the day.
I read about it in local paper but cannot find a link on website.
I have had a Waeco reversing camera for past 7/8 years but don't use it for ball just for seeing whats behind me. Also have one for caravan and the one monitor shows each one when needed.
I would get there early as it is very popular
Here is a link to their site at Varsity Lakes
