Sovereign bullbar brackets

I am looking for a cheaper alternative than Toyota dealership for post recall sovereign bullbar brackets.
Any ideas?

Weld up your old ones? They crack at each end near the vertical plates if you do a lot of corrections.

Thanks 404pug but I bought the bar without brackets so I don't have anything to work with. None of the wreckers around brisbane have any either so I seem to be committed to buying them new. I would happily fabricate some if I had a template.

I may be able to help you out. I recently fitted an ARB bar, most of the sovereign brackets are still on the shed floor and I vaguely remember a Toyota recall on my vehicle for bar mount upgrade (around 2010/2011?). Let me know if you're still on the hunt for this.

I have eventually purchased the bracket kit on ebay for half the Toyota price. The brackets arrived in a Toyota box with genuine Toyota instructions. Go figure

Hello all, I purchased the cradle and then realised it the brackets are pre-recalled brackets. It's around $600 at Toyota now, any help to find it cheaper? thanks

The pre recall brackets are only a problem if you do a lot of corrugations. Get those end plates thoroughly welded on before you put them on?
