Remove front fender mirror?

OK, seems it's fairly simple to remove the actual mirror and mount and there are after-market covers that bolt over the holes. https://item.rakuten.co.jp/rv-shuei/10012407/

It’s easy to do. Over the weekend I replaced the passenger side mirror glass and the driver’s side mirror assembly on a Prado I just bought. The seller sold the Prado at a bargain price due to a few cosmetic things that he believed would cost a fortune to fix. The passenger side mirror glass had an ugly blemish on it that couldn’t be removed with glass cleaner or a flat razor blade & the polished silver driver’s side mirror casing had a couple of cracks in it from something he clipped & he thought it’d cost a thousand dollars to replace. I replaced it for $110 with a new mirror assembly off eBay. Looks the exact same as the genuine one.
To replace the glass & plastic backing only, press the existing mirror inward at the top to get the bottom to protrude out. The get your fingers underneath behind the mirror at the bottom and with force pull out. When the bottom unclips, then lever upward more gently and pull out to unclip the top. Reverse to fit the replacement.
To replace the mirror assembly watch this video. This is how I learned before doing it myself. The plug for the electric mirror is down inside the door so the trim must be removed to access it.
