Can anyone diagnose this noise?

Cheers. I'm out of practice with cars having not had one for about 15 years, but I'm pretty handy and fairly experienced working on my motorbike, so I'm confident I can look at most of this. I've got a service manual, some jackstands, some ramps, but need a new bottle jack. My main problem is finding a safe place to work under it

Not sure what to do about the video, I've tried it on a bunch of different computers phones and browsers. Presumably it worked for Piggy? I'd post the link directly but that's not allowed

Its to do with that left side rotor. Either hitting backing plate, or split pin or some part of the caliper/pad. Are they the correct pads? IMO you can see runout (Warp) in that video. that seems to be in time with the noise. Pull the brake caliper off and run it up again. Noise still there? Pull Rotor off and run it up again. Also try caliper on with no pads fitted. I think it will be one of them. Easy to find and costs bugger all.

I cheers mate. I'll give that a go.

Just got in the thing to go to Bunnings and my window came off the tracks and wouldn't go back up. Had to get a slide rule and try and get it back on in Bunnings car park. Only managed to get it up to about 95% done and hopefully that's enough that it doesn't get broken into. But now it's wedged and the seals look wrecked.

This car is becoming a nightmare.

Managed to 'fix' the window. The track guides are a bit knackered by the looks of it. Took me ages to work out that the rear of the two rails undoes, thought I was knackered because the front rail is riveted in. The rubber seal is pretty chewed up, looking at the service history the last one says cryptically under things to note 'Drivers side window'... Now I know what that is!

Had to drive to bunnings so I had a roof, drench it with silicon spray, use a spanner to unbend the top part of the track, take the door panels and speaker off, and undo the bolt to the rear track. Then align them both and very gently raise the window so it closes. I then locked myself in the car cos I didn't put the lock cable back into it's cradle. Good thing I managed it too as the mobile mechanic I booked cancelled. Today's been fun!

On the plus side, I got myself a new bottle jack and torque wrench. Hopefully tomorrow I'll actually get this wheel off.
