Door key will always turn clockwise but rarely anti-clockwise

So I got a used 2009 KDJ120R Standard 6spd Manual recently not that it should matter that much and the key will always allow me to lock the car, but if I try to turn the key counter-clockwise to unlock it, it will only allow me to unlock it very rarely, not allowing me to turn the key anymore than the neutral position, making me look like a car thief in the middle of the parking lot.
Anyone know a solution to this?

I'm also thinking about going for an aftermarket keyless entry system, anyone know any not too expensive companies that would do this?
