  • Rear diff assembly swap in a 120

Looking at installing a locker in the rear of my 2004 kjz120r with the 1kz-te,

I see that the rear diff in a 150 series is a bit tougher and comes with a factory locker. I've heard they bolt right up in a 120, wondering if there's anything I need to be aware of regarding models of 150/120 and different diff ratios. i believe mine is currently 3.909 and the 150 diff is 4.01, if this is a deal breaker or do i need to swap the front diff as well?
Similarly, does anyone know of any issues with brakes lining up/plumbing up?

Struggling to find any reliable info so any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

You will need to match front and rear ratios in diffs or you will be winding up the trans.
