Need help 2008 prado on gas/petrol fuel gauge issues

Hi all I have a 2008 Toyota prado on petrol / Lpg the fuel gauge was only half working and recently installed a series 1 fj cruiser fuel sender unit which fixed the fuel gauge to fully working. However the fuel gauge now goes up and down from 3/4 to half to 1/4 back up to half while driving on gas . Anyone else have this issue and if so how did you fix it .
Any help would be greatly appreciated
