  • Air Outlet fitting on Bullbar

Has anyone fitted an air outlet fitting to the antenna mount holes on the ARB Bar? I swear I've seen it before on here but I cant seem to find it! I did see one cool rear outlet hidden behind the reflector light tho

Other ideas for mounting an air outlet gladly accepted, I didnt want to have to lift the bonnet every time and also have the hose dragging on the paint.

I have my ARB compressor mounted under the bonnet and I'm happy to open the bonnet as the compressor gets hot. Helps to keep it cooler with the bonnet open. Also the length of hose can still reach comfortably to the rear tyre.

I shifted my compressor outlet to the towbar on my 150 only to make it easier to pump up tyres on the camper. I will still pop the bonnet because as amts says the compressor gets hot pumping up four or six tyres.

Thought about doing the same mod myself. Stewy did the same mod on his 08 D4D which you can find on his rig build on post #89.

I do however, prefer to lift the bonnet to air up as it give me the opportunity to check everything is ok under the hood following a day of wheeling.

I have a hose running from my Bluetongue in the engine bay down to a bracket on the bullbar and have a barb at the end of it so all I have to do is attach the hose and turn the compressor on. I've recently installed a pressure switch to the compressor and the hose acts like a tank.

Before attaching the hose I always turn the compressor on for a second or two to clear any dust or rubbish out of the line - I probably should put a cap of some sort on it.

Mine is located behind left outside upright hoop. Compressor is mounted behind the fog lamp/indicator bezel on the bar.

I used to have mine mounted in the hole in the ARB bullbar but have since moved it to the bracket for the trailer plug as that way the hose reached the trailer without having to use an extension.

Here's where I ended up mounting mine, I still open the bonnet to check things out but its nice having it solidly mounted and out of the way.
