Roof console with sunroof? And other storage solutions

We never use the sunroof, would prefer it's not there but it is.

Has anyone mounted a console with a sunroof? I have no problem making one to suit but unsure about mounting it. The DIY roof console is one of the best additions to my 80 series but we don't use that for touring anymore. Even if a centre one isn't possible a "shelf" type above the sunvisors would help.


Any other storage solutions would be great. 5 in the vehicle when touring leaves minimal space. Would like a few pockets, phone holders/slots etc without impeding functionality eg no air vent clip in phone cradles, I like my air flow...

Yeh, we have four in our car, and finding space for everything is a challenge.

We have two MSA seat organizers. See https://msa4x4.com.au/catalogue/bags...4-accessories/. Great for little bits and pieces. Has big pockets for our girls' iPads too.

There's this "Prado rear door organiser" from Sarah's Canvas Products (on Facebook). See https://www.facebook.com/sarahscanva...69470246452499. I'm thinking of getting one. About $50 though.

Having some extra storage space up front would be nice... but I don't have any solutions for that.

The MSA organisers look the goods.

Have a fold down table on the rear door and all compressor hose and attachments go in the cargo space behind that.

Think I could get away with making a custom roof console for the front. Make map light and dome light housings fit and rivnuts in roof bracing to bolt to and should be all sweet.
Just need to make harness extensions for these lights as minimal length standard... Barely able to get my fingers in there to unclip

But it's not a 120, well not the same as my 120 so I'll assume it's a 150♂️
