Hi all. I have a 2010 GX 5 seater. I want to remove the second row seats but cant see an obvious way to remove the backrest part. There are four retaining bolts in the centre, but how do the backrests detatch from where they swivel n the bodywork at the sides? Any tips would be appreciated.

Well I have now obtained a workshop manual on a CD and can see how to do it. Looks like it involves removing some of those pesky clips which hold the cover on the back of the backrest. Going to be fun if they dont go back easily!
YAY! Well the manual wasnt a real lot of use but I finally managed to do it and without breaking or damaging either the car or myself. Like a lot of things its fairly easy to do once you know how. If anyone wants to know how drop me a line.
