The first accessory fitted my new LC150 Prado was the Tekonsha P3 brake controller, this took a great deal of planning due to limited positions available and the multiple air bags fitted to the Prado.
We decided on a position near the drivers L.H. knee well away from the knee airbag and with easy access to the controls. The P3 could not be mounted under dash as the dash is very low and the driver would not be able to see or operate the P3.
Notes: All cables were run on passenger side as a/c is in RH Rear. We picked up stop light from rear trailer connection and did not tap into any stop light switches. When laying the cables use the inner track leaving the outer tracks for battery cables described later.
