Bleeding Brakes - strange behaviour

Hi folks -

So doing a Brake fluid bleed - with ACC on...

Rear Brakes - on opening Nipple - the pump detects loss of pressure and pumps fluid through - easy :-)
Front Brakes - open nipples and nothing??? Apart from a little fluid coming out.. but no pump kicking in to help...

Is that normal??

Normal behavior. For the front, get a helper to pump the pedal once and hold, open & close the bleeder valve. Then repeat. Don't let the pedal sink to the floor when the bleeder valve is open.
