  • Brake fluid change

Looking to syringe out fluid from reservoir before starting but top is sealed with very small holes -- how can I do this in preference to pushing all the ols fluis through the system?
    Any other tips welcome
    thanks

Does this part lift off to provide access to do this? Maybe if not you could flush it out with new fluid but it will make a big mess.

      No... integral to reservoir
Would really like to hear from someone that has bled brakes on the 150

No need to syringe out the old fluid. Just pump it through.
Trick is to have ignition "on", pump motor kicks in when you do rears. Fluid moves quickly so be careful not to let reservoir drain completely!

I could not syringe out or use my power bleeder to drain the reservoir like I normally would, as I'd rather remove the old crap instead of pump it through the system.

You pretty much have to pump it through using the method above and be warned that it can quite easily drain your battery down to just under the start up threshold if you're doing a full fluid change, so have leads or a charger nearby.

pump through manually, followed by techstream to air bleed
