Hi

Quick one ... does this quote seem reasonable ... $235 to replace both front pads (genuine Toyota parts), plus $145 to machine front rotors.

When I change my pads on my Prado the original front pads are about $120 at the stealership. The local brake shop charges me $30 per corner for rotor machining.

So if your price includes labour that would be about right.

Sounds expensive, its a 5-10 min job a side. DBA or Bendix pada 65-95 a pair. I wouldn't machine toyota rotors, just replace them with DBA T2 or T3. Not much dearer.
