Resetting the cruising range

Hi All
got back from towing the van and the cruising range on the prado is stuck in the towing mode and is showing a lot less than it usually does I read that disconnecting the battery will reset it is that right and is there any drawback's ie resetting radio windows etc it's a 2011 GXL auto diesel

Try resetting your average L/100km and you should find the range is be better.

I believe cruising range is calculated over the whole life of the vehicle ie an average of what the vehicle has done in the past

Just go through all the variables in the menu and reset them. Cruising range will return to normal once the car gets some more “normal” driving numbers.
