Thanks for that... I've sent him an email. We'll see if I hear anything back from him.

Also my Prado is a 150 12/2013 Build (MY14 Facelift) GX. Still waiting on Toyota for replacement.

    Very interesting...
I am waiting on a new head unit under warranty now. Suspected software or internal head unit fault. I asked the dealer in Alice Springs about it.
They have said they have replaced several units (Hiluxes and Prado's) and that it is not uncommon. Will have to send that mail bloke an email too.

I did update ToyotaLink about a month or so ago, and it was fine for some time before freezing and getting stuck in its reboot cycle.

    From the paper.
If it was just the radio it wouldn't be too bad but its the bluetooth and reversing camera which without becomes a safety issue, there is zero visibility out the rear. I'm firing off an email to Toyota to see what they have to say, I don't want to wait weeks for this to be fixed when it seems they are using dodgy radios.
And from previous experience yes I know I'm wasting my time with an email but you feel better.

I'm pretty sure that's how I started the reboot cycle when it froze on me. I will try a full 10seconds again today.

    Cheers
How did you go with your radio, seems I have the same issue

if you hold the power button on the radio down for 10 seconds it does a force reboot, though i would have taught a hard reset would have worked. Worth a shot

Looks like something similar has happened to my 150! The radio froze up on me this morning & since then its been in a constant rebooting loop. Disconnected the battery for 10mins... But same rebooting issue. Toyota to look at it in a few days. Any hints?
