Other people have said they're using the genuine wiring harness as there weren't any aftermarket options available yet. Part number is PZQ59-60140 and Toyota price is $132.11
The electrician that i went to was able tap into the original wiring however the only problem is my light bar can be switched on by pushing the high beam lever forward without the lights being on and the car running.
I was trying to find a separate fuse for the high beam. I found two under the bonnet. One does both LH lights H-LP LH-LO the other does both RH lights H-LP RH-LO. Then there is H-LP HI which does both RH lights again.... More confused than ever
Toyota harness can be used for any light/s. Apparently it is rated for 2 x 55W lights to so you need to check your maximum load. LED spots can be over 200W in total.
ARB make a set of instructions for this that is intended for use with their own looms but I adapted them to work with another brand. It includes pretty much all parts needed, wiring diagram, instructions of wires to tap into etc. ARB Part No: 3789808. I have a copy on e-mail but not sure of their rules regarding sharing copies.
Just ran into this same problem, my auto electrician is trying to find out from Toyota where he can get the pickup from, the genuine wiring harness must pick it up from somewhere, we have light bar, switch and wiring fitted just looking for the pickup now. He said he can get it from in the cab but I think ill end up with the same issue as Two89wabove with the light bar turning on when it shouldnt.
Any help from those that have done it would be appreciated
