  • Another way to do switches

    Here's another way to do switches using the OEM blank plate and relatively cheap high current rated switches with an LED. Cut away the rear excess with a hacksaw blade, drill a pilot hole from the front, then use a file to open up the hole so that the switch body can be screwed in flush with the face of the blank plate.

    One way I guess. but at the very low cost of factory switches from AOB or lightforce, custom switches etc, I'd personally rather go the factory look option. Less chance of bumping them on too if you drop your big mac.

      Yeah, I know what you mean but I just can't justify spending nearly $20 per switch with the number of switches I have that's >100$ just in switches. Another really good thing about these switches is that they are rated to 30A & I have pulled one apart to confirm that they have relay grade contacts inside.
