I am fitting a dash cam with hard wire connections to the Gauges constant power fuse and the ACC switched fuse. Ground is confirmed as a good connection (12v+ when tested connected to battery)
I am only getting 0.1v at the fuses when they should be showing 12v with & without the dash cam connected. In fact I am only getting 0.1v at all fuses when they are live. All gauges and ACC are working fine. All electrical circuits are working except the Dash cam.
The dash cam does work if I connect it via the accessory bayonet plug.
My multi meter appears to be working fine when tested on other circuits.
Can anyone suggest where the problem might be when there is no evidence of short circuit and when everything connected via the fuse box is working fine yet it shows low voltage across fuses (and fuse contacts)
cheers
John
