  • Injector Feedback Values - Can they improve over time using a Fuel Additive?

I've been using the Cost Effective Maintenance CRD Fuel Additive in our 150's DRD for the past 60,000kms and I've also always tried filling up with BP Ultimate Diesel "where possible". I've had my Injector Feedback Values checked at the following kms: 90k, 110k & our recent 120k service. I've also had the Fuel Volume checked on the last 2 times and I'm surprised at the results. I have no idea whether CEM product is working or it's a combo of the CEM and using BP Fuel too, but my Feedback values at 120k have seemed to have improved..... which I'm quite surprised with...... unless the service guys made a mistake.....

So, it got me thinking..... Can your Injector Feedback Values improve over time by using a Fuel Additive, or am I just dreaming ???
I guess over the next few services, if the values improve &/or stay around my last readings, then I can assume that the Fuel Additive I've been regularly using on every fill is working ??

(BTW: I've posted this in another post, but I thought I'd create a separate post to see if I'm the only one to experience this or not.... Just seems unusual that something like this would improve over time just by using a fuel additive.... it's not what I expected...)

Here's my last 3 Injector FB readings:

    Feedback & Volume Levels Check @ Cold start - 18/08/2015 @ 120k:
    Cyl-1: -0.8
    Cyl-2: +0.1
    Cyl-3: -1.2
    Cyl-4: -1.0
    Volume: 10.27
    ------------
    Feedback & Volume Levels Check @ Cold start - 04/03/2015 @ 110k:
    #1 0.3
    #2 0.7
    #3 1.0
    #4 -2.5
    Volume: 10.44
    ------------
    Injector Feedback Values @ Cold Start - 7/06/2014 @ 90k:
    #1 -0.6
    #2 +0.4
    #3 -1.2
    #4 -2.5
    ============================

Could the CEM Fuel Additive actually be working or am I just wishful thinking??
